Update to the Anderson Lineage
I have completed adding the text and genealogical record for the first and second generations of the Anderson lineage. These two generations are presumably our earliest, and most tentative, Anderson family. These two generations located in the Delaware/Maryland border in the middle of the 18th Century. The third generation (John Anderson/Elizabeth Horney) do have documentation and I have a high degree of confidence in our descent from this couple.
As I state in the narrative that accompanies the families I am not comfortable nor entirely certain that the first and second generation couples are the correct connections. They do appear to be plausible, but we need to be very careful in making any definitive statement that we descend from these couples (James Anderson/Elizabeth Brown and James Anderson/Ann Clifton).
I would very much appreciate any comments or information that any of you reading this post can make to help me with the connection of James Anderson/Ann Clifton to John Anderson/Elizabeth Horney. The evidence and connection for James and Ann to James Anderson/Elizabeth Brown appears to be pretty solid. The link breaks between the second and third generations.
