Over the past several weeks I have been researching and updating the information that I had for the children of Rhoda Anderson and William Horney.

The couple had seven children: Esther, Lydia, Peter, Sarah, Paris, John D. and Mary Ann. All of these children except John D. married and likely had children. I have located records for Esther Horney/John Peterson, Lydia Horney/Jonathon Royer, Peter Horney/Mary Coyner, Sarah Horney/Joseph Royer, Paris Horney/Rebecca Boyd and Mary Ann Horney/John Coyner. This recent research has added members to all of these families that will be updated on the page for the children of Rhoda Anderson/William Horney at a later date.

It was not easy locating this information. The Coyner name took on many variations making it necessary to hand search likely census records for those individuals, sometimes the searches were successful, others failed.

It also seems likely that Lydia and Sarah married into the same family (Royer) though I have not been able to find any suggestive records to document this presumption. I would also believe that Peter and Mary Any are likely to have married into the same Coyner family, though again I have not been able to substantiate that guess.
