A new year and continued work on this site.
A new year is upon us and I am returning to working on this site. I came back to it after setting up a “copy,” sort of, on one of my computers at home. I want the two/three locations to appear as nearly alike as possible. Today I was doing some updating of links and loading PDF files to the site. I have three versions of Harmon Anderson’s Civil War Diary: 1) a straight HTML version of the transcription done by Margaret McKinney Brown; 2) a PDF version of the transcribed diary; and 3) a PDF of scans of the original diary with an introduction.
I am unable to make the link to the latter work.
On the Anderson and Allied Families page I have completed links to the 29 pages that will serve as a launch to the narrative material for each. Most of these lineages are English. I am able to locate ancestors in England in the 15 and 1600s. Much of that has been made possible by the work of others that is shared on Ancestry.com, their contributions have been acknowledged in the detail and sources for these families.
Over the coming year I expect to add narrative to these lineages and link the individuals to registries in the large genealogic data base I have created.
