I have spent the better part of the morning searching for a couple of photographs that I know exist and that I looked at within the last week. I am trying to find pictures to add to my story that I published yesterday about my homes down through the years.

The two photographs are one of my Aunt Mary Lou and Aunt Margie in Portland in the early 1940s, the other is of my sister Mary and I walking along a downtown Portland street that was taken be a “street photographer.” Both of these I would like to add to my earlier story to help with the documentation and add some life beyond the text.

I am enjoying looking at my three-quarter century history in photographs, but also frustrated that I cannot find pictures I know are there! Hmm — maybe I just imagined them
