Adaline Cameron 1838-1922; wife of John Horney Anderson was a 1 cousin 3x. She was the daughter of John Cameron 1811-1895 and Mary Rinehart Cameron 1815-1849. After the death of Mary Rinehart Cameron; John Cameron married Rachel Hoffman Rinehart. Rachel Hoffman Rinehart was the widow of Jacob C. Rinehart; Mary Cameron Rinehart’s brother who died in 1852.
Nancy Ellen Rinehart; wife of Eli Anderson was the daughter of Jacob C. Rinehart 1819-1852 and Rachel Hoffman Rinehart 1819-. After the death of Jacob C. Rinehart in 1852, Rachel Hoffman Rinehart married John Cameron, father of Adaline Cameron (wife of John Horney Anderson).
Nancy Ellen Rinehart’s brother; Preston Allen Rinehart 1847-1864 served in C Co. with the 27th Iowa Vol Infantry.

The senior John Horney Anderson (1781-1841) is my second great granduncle, i.e., his is an older brother of my great-great grandfather. This connection I believe will make us distant cousins.
